Company Chicken

(Contains meat, duh)

1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into strips or chunks

1 T vegetable oil, divided

2-6 cloves garlic, chopped (I just press them in)

2 T flour

1 c chicken broth

2 T lemon juice

1 t sugar

1/2 t dill (generous)

1/3 c toasted, slivered almonds

In a wok, heat 1 t vegetable oil; cook chicken and garlic. Set aside (in a casserole dish, probably). In a skillet, heat 2 t vegetable oil. Stir in flour. Gradually mix in chicken broth, stirring carefully so that it doesn't get lumpy. It won't matter if it's a little lumpy, though, so don't stress. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken in casserole dish. Serve over rice.

This is good for company, because nobody else ever makes it, so it's nummy and new. Well. Nobody else used to make it. Now I'm going to have to come up with something else. It's a vicious cycle, but what can we do.
