Things&#8230;have not done that. Nor do they look likely to. Kosara is still hearing the Zmey&#8217;s voice. Asen is no longer comfortable on the mundane police force. And there are monsters&#8230;where there should not be monsters. So: normal? really no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Giant plague-bearing cockerels, unexpected werewolves, uncertain vampires, Asen&#8217;s late wife&#8217;s kikimora, the gang&#8217;s all here. Kosara&#8217;s dozen shadows are unruly at the worst possible times. There&#8217;s more trouble than they realized between the human realm and the realm of monsters, and it&#8217;s going to take everything they&#8217;ve got to set the balance right&#8211;and a few things they don&#8217;t have yet as well.
