Heathah's Chocolate Caramel Bars

That's this Heathah, in case you were wondering.

1 chocolate cake mix with pudding

small can evaporated milk: 5.25 ounces or so

1/2 c butter, melted

14 oz. bag caramels

12 oz. bag semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. Melt caramels with 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Mix remaining evaporated milk, butter, and cake mix and spread half of the mixture in a greased 9x13 pan. (Do not try to be dainty and use a spoon. The mixture will stick to the spoon much more than it sticks to your fingers.) Bake 8 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top and spread caramel over that. Take remaining batter and drop over caramel in spoonfuls. Bake 20 minutes.
